Justice Minister Helen McEntee in Sligo today

Justice Minister Helen McEntee will be in Sligo today to attend the Prison Officer’s Association’s annual delegation conference.

The conference will be held until tomorrow at the Radisson Blu hotel near Rosses Point.

Minister McEntee has chosen not to attend the recent Garda Representative Association conference in Mayo this week after Garda Commissioner Drew Harris was not invited.

She will address the Prison Staff Association later today.
