Renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to make his much-awaited debut in the world of OTT with the upcoming web series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’. The grandeur of Bhansali’s storytelling and his keen eye for detail will dazzle audiences once again with this ambitious project, releasing on May 1.


The excitement surrounding ‘Heeramandi’ reached new heights with a star-studded screening in Mumbai attended by some of Bollywood’s biggest stars. Leading the pack was the talented Alia Bhatt, who looked ethereal in a white traditional outfit, accompanied by her mother Soni Razdan and mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor. Also present was the charismatic Salman Khan, who walked in stylishly in a black shirt and jeans. Salman’s association with Bhansali goes back to the iconic film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, which makes his presence at the event even more special.


The “Heeramandi” team including Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Shaikh and others added to the glamor of the event with their traditional attire. Aditi Rao Hydari, accompanied by her fiancé Siddharth, and Richa Chadha, with her husband Ali Fazal, were among the other stars who graced the red carpet.


The screening also featured male celebrities like Vijay Varma, Vicky Kaushal, Karan Johar, Randeep Hooda and Zayed Khan, who added to the star power of the event. The evening was further enhanced by the presence of Ananya Panday, Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, Shruti Haasan, Esha Deol, Rakul Preet Singh, Bhumi Pednekar, Huma Qureshi, Patralekhaa and others, who added their charm to the occasion.
