Notre Dame High School is a highly successful and oversubscribed Roman Catholic school for ages 11-18 with Academy status. We are part of the Catholic MAT St. John the Baptist. We are a 2024 Ofsted rated ‘Good with Outstanding Features’ school, one of only 37 EEF research schools nationally and a designated Education School Hub.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed full-time Religious Studies teacher, who can join our dynamic department in delivering Religious Studies across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. As a core subject at Notre Dame, each KS3 group receives five one- lessons of one hour spread over a two-week class schedule. At KS4 all students are enrolled in the Edexcel full RS GCSE, focusing on Catholic Christianity, Judaism and Philosophy and Ethics, which is taught in five one-hour lessons every fortnight. We also teach A-level OCR Religious Studies (Philosophy, Ethics and Theology) with nine lessons taught fortnightly, and a weekly one-hour Culture and Faith Studies session without an exam for all Y12 and Y13 students.
