A former counselor at the OC Boys and Girls Club was arrested for allegedly abusing young girls – New Santa Ana

Last March, a woman reported to police that she had been inappropriately touched by a Boys & Girls Club counselor, who was later identified as Elijah Dominic Barrera29 years old, from Fullerton, according to the Garden Grove Police Station.

The unreported incident occurred in August 2014, when the victim was 7-8 years old. During the investigation, detectives also found a second victim.

Police detectives arrested Barrera on April 19, 2024. He was later booked into the Orange County Jail on two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child.
