LIFE360 IMPROVES FAMILY SAFETY APP WITH LAUNCH OF NEW FEATURES AND LAYERED MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS IN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND

The app adds emergency assistance, data breach alerts, roadside assistance, and more

SYDNEY, April 23, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Leading family safety and location app Life360, today announced the rollout of new safety features and enhancements through a three-tier membership structure, offering a spectrum of benefits. With 2 million Aussies already benefiting from the app, the latest updates are designed to provide families with complete peace of mind and value at home and on the go.

Keep loved ones safe on the road
Last year marked the deadliest year on Australian roads in half a decade, with fatalities reaching as high as 61% in some states. Ensuring the safety of your loved ones is easier with Life360’s free Crash Detection, which can detect collisions above 40 km/h, immediately contact the driver or passenger involved and alert their Circle members if there is no response . Gold and Platinum membership users now have the option to provide emergency services with Crash Detection. In the unfortunate event of an accident, Life360 will contact emergency services, share exact location coordinates, and stay on the line until help arrives. Last year, more than 38,500 ambulances were dispatched worldwide through Life360 to save lives that would otherwise be lost or in grave danger.

Additionally, Gold and Platinum members can now take advantage of Life360’s new Roadside Assistance, which allows any member of the Circle family to request 24/7 roadside assistance for towing, flat tires, lost keys, extra gas or other needs. Life360 membership includes 25 km of free metro and 50 km of free rural towing for Gold members, or 40 km of metro and 80 km rural for Platinum members.

With a simple tap of Life360’s “SOS” button, users can send a silent alert to their Circle members, along with their location. Now Gold and Platinum members can not only alert Circle members and users’ emergency contacts, but also use Life360’s dedicated remote emergency responders, who will also call the member, assess the situation and contact the appropriate authorities, whether it is the police or the police. ambulance service, to provide timely assistance if necessary.
