Meghan Markle’s unexpected backless dress adds some warmth to royal fashion

With each passing year since she and husband Prince Harry stepped down as working royals in 2020, Meghan has become increasingly comfortable taking fashion risks. In photos posted to Instagram by close family friend Ignacio Figueras, Meghan appeared at a dinner in support of Sentebale, an organization co-founded by Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to support young people in southern African countries such as Botswana.

The outing follows the Sussexes’ performance at the Royal Salute Polo Challenge at the Grand Champions Polo Club in Florida last weekend, where Meghan also pushed the boundaries in royal fashion, wearing a white Heidi Merrick halter neck dress with a torso cutout and a pleated midi skirt. .
