SIFC announces plan to transform Khyber Pakhtunkhwa into a tourism hub

PESHAWAR: The Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), which is mandated to form a unified economic policy, has announced plans to transform Thandiani and Gangwal into vibrant tourism hubs in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, marking a significant leap forward for Pakistan’s tourism industry.

These Integrated Tourism Zones (ITZs) cover 58 hectares in Thandiani and 60 hectares in Gangwal and represent a joint effort between public and private entities.

In Thandiani, families can anticipate a welcoming escape within the ITZ, with luxury residential apartments, a charming village atmosphere and delicious culinary options.

Similarly, the ITZ in Gangwal aims to showcase Pakistan’s rich cultural heritage and talent and offer visitors an immersive glimpse into the region’s history.

Taking advantage of the natural beauty and cultural diversity of Thandiani and Gangwal, these zones aim to attract both local and international tourists, thereby strengthening Pakistan’s position in the global tourism arena.

This initiative underlines a committed commitment to unlocking the potential of these picturesque destinations, promising enriching experiences for all who dare to explore them.
