Johnvents Industries completes its second RA certification and strengthens commitment to cocoa sustainability and food safety

Johnvents Industries Limited, a leading indigenous agribusiness and cocoa processing company in Africa, has completed Rainforest Alliance factory certification and FSSC 22000 version 6 food safety audit.

The newly acquired Rainforest Alliance Supply Chain certification for its cocoa processing facility complements the existing certification for its farmer network. The food safety audit complies with the latest global food safety standards.

“The Rainforest Alliance certification allows Johnvents Industries to work directly with certified cocoa bean producers or farmer groups, facilitating participation in the sustainable cocoa market. In addition, Johnvents can now offer certified cocoa beans or its processed products to buyers locally and internationally, targeting sustainability-conscious consumers.”
