A new company has been launched in Dubai to help brands sustainably improve digital advertising performance.

Conscious Media positions itself as a sustainable digital media partner for brands that want to reach regional and international audiences through programmatic channels.

The media partner will focus on helping brands increase their return on ad spend while reducing carbon emissions from their digital advertising.

The company was founded by Andy Powell, who previously led InMobi in the EMEA region as VP and MD.

“We have worked tirelessly to provide a sustainable offering to brands that not only helps reduce emissions in our industry, but also improves performance across attention, visibility, view-through-rate and more,” said Andy Powell, co-founder and CEO.

Conscious Media partners with SSPs and AI companies that use technology like Scope3 to remove high-carbon publishers from site lists and ensure campaigns only deliver results on low-carbon programmatic offerings, including YouTube, PMP and OpenExchange.

“The methodology is nothing new; Less is better – green media placements generally deliver results on sites and publishers with less clutter, increasing campaign performance,” Powell adds.

Conscious Media also has several sustainability initiatives to offset carbon emissions, including a project committed to planting trees after every campaign, and more such initiatives will be announced soon.

Highlighting the company’s need in the region, Powell says: “The MENA region is at the forefront of sustainability initiatives, with COP28 earlier this year and now the recent launch of Ad Net Zero in the UAE, so it’s time to take action to undertake. .

“We are on a mission to help brands consciously buy more sustainable media, both locally and internationally, across multiple formats such as CTV, Video and Display,”

Conscious Media offers a comprehensive range of programmatic purchasing options, all available on the most popular DSPs.
