Even listening to Hanuman Chalisa becomes a crime under Congress rule: Prime Minister Modi

Jaipur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday sharpened his attack on the Congress, saying it is difficult to follow one’s faith within the party. He again accused the party of hatching a deep conspiracy to take people’s wealth and distribute it to “selected” people.

Referring to the ‘redistribution of wealth’ comments he made at a rally in Banswara in Rajasthan on Sunday, the Prime Minister said this has angered the Congress and the INDIA bloc so much that they have started ‘abusing’ Modi everywhere.

“I have brought home the truth to the country that Congress is hatching a deep conspiracy to take your wealth and distribute it to the ‘selected’ people,” he said at a rally in Tonk.

“Two-three days ago, I exposed this vote bank policy of Congress as appeasement politics; this has made Congress and its INDI alliance so angry that they have started abusing Modi everywhere,” he said, wondering “why Congress is afraid of the truth and hiding its policies.”

‘It is written in their manifesto that they will investigate the wealth. Their leader had said in a speech that wealth will be x-rayed,” he said, adding, “When Modi revealed the secret, your hidden agenda came out and you are shaking.”

The Prime Minister also said that it is difficult to follow one’s faith under Congress rule.

“Even listening to Hanuman Chalisa becomes a crime under Congress rule,” he said.

His comments come on a day when the country celebrates Hanuman Jayanti.
