Based on this data, 97 percent more people undertook religious pilgrimages in 2023 compared to 2021. As a result, the propensity to undertake religious pilgrimages has increased significantly among residents of small towns.

Ayodhya is the most searched religious place

In Ayodhya, Ramlala city, there was an increase of about 585 percent in 2023 compared to 2022. In addition, there was an increase of 359 percent for Ujjain, Mahakal city, and 343 percent for Badrinath.

Ooty and Munnar become the people’s choice
