Ram Pothineni is now part of Double Ismart, shooting to start soon?

Almost after a year of Liger debacle, Puri Jagannadh started work on his upcoming film Double Ismart, starring Ustaad Ram Pothineni. Bollywood villain Sanjay Dutt plays the role of Big Bull in the film. The director wanted to score a big hit, but when the film was almost completed, it was canceled.

While Ram Pothineni secured his remuneration, the makers had budget issues and stopped shooting for a while. As the film’s production impressed Ram Pothineni, he kindly offered to enter into a partnership in the film industry instead of accepting a fixed fee to reduce the pressure on production costs.

This allowed Puri Jagannadh and Charmee Kaur to take a breather. But close associates of Ram Pothineni say why should he peg his reward? They claim that all reports against Ram Pothineni are an attempt to blame him for the production stoppage.

Nearly 80% of the film’s shooting has already been completed. There are only three songs and a short talkie segment to complete. We already mentioned that the film has been postponed indefinitely and will largely be released at the end of the summer.

The latest we hear is that the makers are planning a release in July. The first single from the film will be released in May. Besides directing the film, Puri Jagannadh is also bankrolling the film with Charmme Kaur under their banner, Puri Connects.
