Two military helicopters collide in mid-air during rehearsal, killing ten | Watch

On April 23, at least ten people were killed when two military helicopters collided in mid-air in Malaysia. The navy said in a statement that the collision occurred during a rehearsal for a Royal Malaysian Navy parade.

All 10 were crew members on board the plane involved in the accident, which occurred at 9:32 a.m. (01:32 GMT) on Tuesday morning at Lumut Naval Base in the western state of Perak, the navy said.

The incident took place at 9:30 a.m. local time (2:30 a.m. BST) in the Malaysian city of Lumut, home to a naval base.

“All victims were pronounced dead on the spot and sent to Lumut Army Base Hospital for identification,” the Navy said.
