Two Malaysian military helicopters collide and crash during training, killing all ten people on board

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – The Malaysian Navy said two military helicopters collided and crashed during a training session on Tuesday, killing all 10 people on board.

The navy said in a brief statement that the helicopters were training at a naval base in the northern state of Perak for the navy’s 90th anniversary celebrations next month when the accident occurred.

“All victims were pronounced dead at the scene,” the report said, adding that the remains were sent to hospital for identification.
