Miss World 2017 and actor Manushi Chhillar raved about Sandeep Reddy Vanga and also praised Rashmika Mandanna’s role in Animal (2023), starring Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor and Triptii Dimri. During an interview with Zoom, when asked about the rumors that she would be offered a role in Animal, the actor said she wished she had known about these rumors. When further asked which role she would have preferred between Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri’s characters, if the rumors were true, Manushi said, ‘I love him (Sandeep Reddy Vanga). See, both are really interesting roles (Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri’s characters). But I loved Rashmika’s character because in this whole world where men were fighting each other, she really held her own.”

In Animal, Rashmika’s Geetanjali marries Ranbir’s Vijay, while Triptii’s Zoya has an affair with him. Talking about Rashmika’s Animal role, the actor said, “She really confronted a man. She held him accountable. She said I don’t care who you are, what you do outside and how dangerous you could be. But you are my husband, and I will hold you accountable. Her character had an arc. I thought this was a good opportunity, and she did a great job.
