It is important to understand that the Lite name is nothing more than a simple surname, that is, a way to distinguish one model from another based on its physical conditions. As a general rule, the light and small mobile phones still exist, but not with the surname Lite added. However, it is true that its presence is becoming more and more limited, since the new Xiaomi 14 family does not even have a Lite member among its members and although it is small, it is not light.

The reason why brands have made this decision depends entirely on the needs of the market and users, as they are used to tracking interest based on sales and demand, so it has not been a decision taken lightly.
