Here’s how one New York company responded to the illegal alien crisis

A Home Depot store in New York now has security guards and a watchdog to protect shoppers from thieves and aggressive illegal aliens.

According to the New York Post, two security guards in bulletproof vests are now patrolling the Home Depot location in New Rochelle with a German Shepherd. One of the security guards told the Post that the security company was called in a few weeks ago to protect shoppers.

“It’s not just because of (illegal immigrants), but also because of a lot of other things, like people breaking into cars and things like that,” said one of the guards who spoke to the Post.

The lot at the New Rochelle location was reportedly “quiet” when the Post visited. At another location, more than seven miles away, “at least thirty male migrants hovered near the doors of Home Depot,” the report noted (via NYP):

But many others aggressively confronted shoppers, trying to sell them fake Apple Airpods or asking for tips on lifting items from shopping carts into cars — even if they weren’t invited.

“You come out and you’re just a woman, they literally lean on your cart, and you say, ‘No, I don’t need any help,’” one worker said. “And when they follow you to your car, it’s nerve-wracking.”

She said a female supervisor in the parking lot saw one of the men washing his genitals with a water bottle, and several women called customer service to complain that migrants had robbed them of wallets or phones.

She has seen the number of scammers on the ground increase as New York City’s immigrant population explodes.

“One day I came to work and there must have been a hundred men here,” she said. “And I’m like, ‘Oh, my God!'”

LaurieAnn Masciocco, who works in customer service at Home Depot, told the outlet that customers regularly complain about illegal aliens in their stores.

“It’s gotten to the point where they’re invading personal space, touching people’s belongings and just harassing,” she said. “I understand, you’re trying to make money. But when it becomes aggressive and intimidating, there is a big problem.”

An illegal immigrant told the Post that he was looking for work from contractors at one of the New York locations.

“There are many people who have been coming here for years. . . people are asking for construction jobs and if they need help with projects,” he told The Post in Spanish. “We come here to find work.”

An illegal immigrant from Senegal told the Post he makes about $300 a day by charging customers $10 each time he helps them push their cart or drag their purchases into their car.

Home Depot told the outlet that loitering and soliciting are illegal in its stores, but would not specify what action it would take to stop it.

“While we cannot go into detail about our security measures,” the company said, “it is not unusual for us to use third-party security at various stores across the country.”
