Man stabbed without provocation on Brooklyn Street by stranger who fled on bicycle

A 32-year-old man was stabbed and injured on a Brooklyn street by a complete stranger who fled on a bicycle, police said Monday.

The attacker did not say a word when he stabbed the victim unprovoked in the upper body with a knife on McDonald Ave. on Sunday around 2:45 p.m. near Church Ave. in Kensington, police said.

The attacker was last seen walking down McDonald Ave. cycled towards Avenue C.

Medics took the victim to Maimonides Medical Center in stable condition.

The NYPD on Monday released surveillance images of the suspect, believed to be about 55 years old, and asked for the public’s help in identifying and locating him.
