Akwasi Kardashian suffers from kidney failure

During an interview with popular Ghanaian blogger Sammykaymedia, Akwasi Kardashian broke down in tears as he tried to explain his fate to Ghanaians.

The Ghanaian supermodel lay in bed during the interview while his body was connected to a dialysis machine at the Hope Medical Center. He tearfully said he needed GH¢700,000 to undergo a kidney transplant.

While narrating how he came to know about kidney failure, he said he had been suffering from high blood pressure for about five years. However, in 2023, he started feeling strange that he would throw up every time he ate.

He was therefore referred to Ridge Hospital, where he was admitted to the emergency room after several tests; there doctors diagnosed him with kidney failure.

A medical professional from the dialysis facility of the medical center disclosed that one could spend between GH¢15,000 and GH¢20,000 on dialysis.
