Barmaid found hanging in a rented house in Bhubaneswar; Kin Cry murder

Bhubaneswar: A girl who reportedly worked in a bar was found dead under mysterious circumstances in her rented house in Badagada area of ​​Bhubaneswar.

The deceased, identified as Sulochana Das (22), was a resident of Tirtol in Jagatsinghpur. The exact reason for her death remains unclear. Her relatives claimed she had been murdered.

Sulochana was staying in the rented house in Bhubaneswar with her boyfriend in a live-in relationship for the past few days.

Her friend named Nihar Giri informed Sulochana’s family members about her death. Since then he has lived incommunicado.

Although Sulochana was found hanging in her room, relatives claimed she had been murdered.

Her father claimed that her boyfriend proposed to her. There might be some disagreements between them, her father said.

She stayed in Bhubaneswar for the past year and performed various stage programs.

Based on her family’s written complaint, Badagada police registered a case and initiated an investigation. Police seized some food material and drinks at the scene and started an investigation with the help of a scientific team.
