Ex-senior bureaucrat Roedad ​​Khan dies in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Former senior bureaucrat Rudad Khan, who served in key posts of the federal and provincial governments, passed away in Islamabad on Sunday.

The former home minister belonged to a small village in Mardan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He will be buried at the H-11 cemetery in the federal capital after his funeral prayers following the Zuhr prayers.

During his career, Khan served as Chief Secretary of Sindh, Chief Secretary of KP, Director of Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV), Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Secretary of the Ministry of Labour. He also served as Minister of the Interior, Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior, Federal Minister for Accountability and Advisor to the President and Prime Minister.
