PIL and CCS Wuhan looking for green shipping solutions

The two parties will investigate the use of alternative fuels, onboard carbon capture and storage systems to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) emissions from ships.

The collaboration will focus on the exploration of alternative fuels and the implementation of onboard carbon capture and storage systems; establishing green supply chains for marine fuels; ensuring compliance with sustainability regulations; sharing knowledge about green fuel bunkering at sea and improving staff skills in new technologies and best practices.

PIL has previously signed MoUs with PSA Singapore to jointly develop sustainable solutions to reduce CO2 emissions and optimize maritime efficiency, and with DP World to jointly develop green solutions for decarbonizing global supply chains, respectively.
