Boy held for cruelty to cow in Doon

Dehradun: A minor boy was arrested by Dehradun police on Sunday for allegedly subjecting a cow to cruelty by branding it with a cigarette in Doiwala area of ​​the city. According to police, the boy was arrested after members of an animal welfare organization tracked him down after a video of him allegedly doing a despicable act with the cow circulated on social media on Friday evening. Sub-inspector Virendra Chauhan said, “He was traced from a slum of Doiwala on Saturday. During the interrogation it turned out that he had also pressed a lighted cigarette against the cow’s skin.
