Reticulate Micro Unveils VALOR™ ESA Product Family – SatNews

Reticulate is tailoring its first VALOR offering to user requirements, starting with a land mobile solution in the fourth quarter. The company plans to offer both Ku- and Ka-band satellite frequency options.

Josh Cryer, president and CEO of Reticulate Microsaid, “With the launch of VALOR we are moving up the value chain. Not only will we generate real-time streamed content through our VAST™ video compression technology, but we will also manage the connections that transport that content. As with all Reticulate products, VALOR will integrate our VisionOS™ platform, ensuring all our products are interoperable.”

A higher performing terminal with low power consumption is highly desirable among today’s warfighters, and we have that solution in the VALOR product line,” said David Horton, Chief Operating Officer for Reticulate Micro and President of Reticulate Space. “Our product family is designed to be compliant and ultra-low profile to support aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), maritime and ground vehicle applications.

Mark Steel, EVP Product & Services at Reticulate Micro and CTO of Reticulate Spacesaid, “Current ESAs on the market do not meet the full user requirements – they are still extremely expensive, generate a lot of power and have a large form factor,” Steel explains. “Other ESA solutions typically have to sacrifice size, weight or strength. We are coming to market with a disruptive technology that we can scale to meet all of the SWAPc requirements that our industry wanted but was unable to deliver.
