York man sentenced on firearm charges: Department of Justice


A York County man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on firearms charges, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Authorities allege Isiah Smith, 59, of York, possessed an unregistered firearm without a serial number and transferred it in violation of the National Firearms Act, a news release states. It happened around Dec. 7, 2022.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the York County Drug Task Force, and the York County District Attorney’s Office investigated the case, the release states.

Assistant US Attorney K. Wesley Mishoe is the prosecutor, the release states.
