ANC embraces all religious beliefs – Lesufi

Cape Town – ANC Gauteng president Panyaza Lesufi has stressed the importance of maintaining ties with religious groups ahead of the upcoming elections.

Lesufi, accompanied by provincial leaders, attended a service at an Anglican church in Kagiso on Sunday.

According to EWNhe highlighted the historic significance of the ANC’s relationship with religious organizations, emphasizing the need to effectively deliver the party’s messages to these communities.

“The ANC was born in a church and the ANC is an institution that embraces all religious beliefs. So the importance of this is to ensure that we remain in touch with those with whom we can communicate and send our messages so that they can understand our presence,” the report quoted Lesufi as saying.
