Dog attacks child inside Noida Society, residents attack couple feeding stray animals | Video

In a gruesome incident from Noida, a gang in a residential society in Sector 70 allegedly attacked a young couple who feed and care for stray dogs in the area. The incident took place on May 2 after one of the stray dogs in the association attacked a six-year-old girl.

According to media reports, the child was seriously injured but was said to be stable later that day. After the incident, residents protested against the dog food being left in the society and soon approached the police for action.

However, the angry mob also attacked a young couple there and also allegedly pushed themselves and attacked the police officials.

People For Animals (PFA) shared the video of the angry mob on their official dogs. Even the police were pushed around and attacked. Immediate action is demanded against the rioters.”

The animal welfare organization further alleged that the caretakers, who have had all the society’s dogs sterilized and vaccinated, have even been “physically attacked, vulgarly abused and threatened with death.”

The residents have also threatened to beat the dogs and move them, the PFA added.
