The court admits that Sirika and two others were granted bail of N100 million each

A Federal Capital Territory High Court on Thursday admitted that a former Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, and two others have posted bail of N100 million each.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Thursday produced Mr Sirika before Judge Sylvanus Oriji of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Maitama.

Mr. Sirika’s daughter, Fatima, is also charged; Jalal Hamma and Al-Duraq Investment Ltd, for alleged abuse of office.

According to the indictment, Mr. Sirika allegedly used his position as aviation minister to fraudulently award contracts to his daughter, son-in-law and associates.
