An Oklahoma chiropractor, Dr. Joren Whitley, is making headlines after a series of videos showed him performing some neck adjustments for a 16 foot male giraffe called Gerry. The incident has sparked fascination and debate.

According to some reports from The Washington Post, Whitley took on the difficult task of addressing Gerry’s neck problems, which made the giraffe’s jaw movement difficult.

In one of the videos, Whitley can be seen standing on a raised platform to access the towering animal’s neck.

Whitley primarily treats dogs, but has also worked with a wide range of animals, including chickens and even an injured bat.
