Netflix Denies Kevin Hart Was Asked to Boo for Kim Kardashian in Tom Brady Roast: Celebrities: Enstarz

Kim Kardashian drew boos when she took the stage at “The Roast of Tom Brady,” but it was cut short when the show was streaming, and Kevin Hart had nothing to do with it, according to the streaming giant.

Kardashian was one of the celebrities who took the stage to roast Brady, and there were noticeable boos directed at her during the live program, but they were removed when the show hit the streaming service. Rumors quickly spread that Hart had likely asked Netflix to stop the boos because he was friends with the “Kardashians” star, but the streaming platform denied this.

“There was no talent involved in the post-production edits,” the Netflix spokesperson told Page Six.

Kardashian took the stage at the Kia Forum in LA on Sunday after Hart called her to give a toast.

“I know a lot of people make fun of your height,” the Skim founder began her set.

However, she was unable to finish her sentence as the crowd erupted in boos. “Whoa, whoa, whoa,” Hart said defensively.

During Kardashian’s speech, she joked about the dating rumors about her and the former NFL superstar.

“I wasn’t planning on coming tonight,” she joked, “but since I’m not here as Tom’s date, there’s still a good chance I will.”

“Speaking of Tom and I’s relationship, I know there were rumors that we were, and I would never say whether we did or not, I would just release the tape,” she added, joking about her sex tape from 2007.

Kardashian reportedly had to take a flight from Los Angeles to New York for the Met Gala. However, she stayed until the end of the program.

“She was happy to be there and supportive,” the source said.

Meanwhile, David Portnoy, the founder and owner of sports and popular culture company Barstool Sports, ridiculed Kardashian after she was booed. He also criticized the reality star for reading the teleprompter like a “robot.”

“Kardashian, like Goodell, got booed after the Pats won the Superbowl. Kevin Hart actually had to tell people to stop. I fucking love it. She also sucked and read the teleprompter like a robot,” he further wrote Xformerly Twitter.

An unnamed source told Page Six in a separate report that those who booed Kardashian were sports fans who were also fans of Portnoy.

“(Kardashian) gets an obsessive amount of hate online from ‘bro’ culture, so her team always knew there was a chance they would be disruptive (at an event honoring an athlete),” the source said. “She took it all with grace.”

Portnoy has been open about his disdain for Kardashian. When he heard the rumors that Brady and Kardashian were dating, he trashed the famous mother of four.

“It makes me want to puke,” Portnoy said. “Tom Brady can’t date Kim Kardashian. Listen, she’s pretty, she’s a bazillionaire, but she’s a paparazzi girl,… she fucked on camera… she ruins the life of every man she touches .She’s a Daily News, a Page Six, a reality TV girl.”

Interestingly enough, Portnoy also responded to the report crediting him for the boos Kardashian received at X.

“Holy shit! I get credit for the Kardashian boos? Ego completely back to a hundred million trillion!!!!!!” He wrote.
