Welcome and farewell: new residents join Soria Health Care Management

The Soria Health Care Management (GASSO) hosted its annual welcome event for new internal medicine residents, as well as nursing and psychology professionals who have passed their respective exams and joined the medical center’s specialty staff. Part of the event also included saying goodbye to the residents who had completed their training at the hospital.

Doctors had the option to choose from six specialties offered by the hospital, including urology, radiodiagnosis, family and community medicine, intensive care medicine, internal medicine and psychiatry. The new additions to the staff include residents in family and community medicine, internal medicine, intensive care medicine, urology, radiodiagnosis, occupational medicine, psychiatry, family and community nursing, mental health and clinical psychology.

Four resident physicians (MIR) have completed their residencies, with many expressing interest in continuing to work at Soria Health Care Management through loyalty contracts. In September, eleven specialists in family and community medicine will complete their contracts, while fourteen internal nurses will complete their training.

The event was led by José Luis Vicente, Healthcare Manager of Soria, together with other key figures from the hospital and primary care studies. The commitment to training and developing new medical professionals remains a priority for Soria Health Care Management.
