Teen arrested, more suspects wanted in triple shooting Tuesday night in south KC

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – A teen is in juvenile custody and more suspects are wanted in a triple shooting Tuesday night at a home in south Kansas City, Missouri.

Police were called to a reported shooting near East 117th Street and Corrington Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

Outside the house, they found a woman seriously injured by gunfire.

Officers were told another victim had been shot at a nearby home.

Police found a man dead from gunshot wounds.

The third victim, a teenager, was able to reach the hospital before police arrived.

The name of the dead man has not been released.

The condition of the two other shooting victims is critical but stable.

Detectives are looking for more suspects.

This was the 46th homicide of 2024 in Kansas City, Missouri.

In 2023, there were currently 60 homicides in KCMO.
