Mark Carney on ‘climate-focused’ financial policy, transparency within the military and Nutrition North on the agenda

While Conservatives may have lost their bid to drag him before a House committee to defend the federal carbon pricing system, fformer Governor of the Bank of Canada (and later the Bank of England), Mark Carneywho is now chairman of Brookfield Asset Managementis nevertheless on the witness list at the Senate BANKING, TRADE AND THE ECONOMY committee, where he will share his thoughts on Senator Rosa Galvez’s proposal to implement a “climate-focused” policy that would “require certain financial and other federally regulated entities to mitigate and adapt to the impacts of climate change to fit.” (4:15 p.m.)
