Rihanna’s absence from the MET gala leads to rumors of a new pregnancy

Yesterday was the annual MET Gala, with celebrities storming the museum’s infamous steps on one of the biggest nights on the fashion calendar. As usual, the music was excellently represented at the even. Pop in particular features almost all of its biggest stars. Ariana Grande, Lana Del Rey, Camila Cabello, Sabrina Carpenter and more were all in attendance. Rap was also well represented with Jack Harlow, Lil Nas But it’s one person who wasn’t there and who’s getting quite a bit of attention from fans.

Rihanna is a regular at the MET Gala and her 2015 dress is considered by many to be one of the most iconic in the event’s history. But this year she was absent from the festivities, leaving fans wondering why. She may have simply been busy with one of her many business ventures, or, as many fans hope, has been hard at work on a new album. But some online have suggested a different reason. Some claim she skipped the event because she is pregnant again. It wouldn’t be the first time she surprised fans with a pregnancy announcement when they were expecting something else. Fans debate why Rihanna missed the MET gala

Recently, Rihanna has started teasing her ninth album in a much more direct way than before. She spoke specifically about the upcoming release last month, specifically saying the project was “amazing.” While it’s not the first time she’s confirmed a project is in the works, the more direct route has fans excitedly speculating that it could be here sooner rather than later.
