Chi Food Truck Fest returns to Daley Plaza – NBC Chicago later this month

The Chi Food Truck Fest showcases a wide range of culinary options from around the world and returns to Daley Plaza for its ninth year, city officials announced Tuesday.

The party is expected to start on Friday, May 17 and will take place every Friday at Daley Plaza through October 4 from 11am to 3pm.

A rotating selection of food trucks from across the city will take part throughout the duration of the festival, with the aim of raising awareness and support for the small businesses involved.

While a full lineup of participating food trucks is not currently available, each week’s lineup will be announced Chicago’s Department of Business and Consumer Protection social media platforms using the hashtag #ChiFoodTruckFest.
