Body language expert discovers one behavior that sets Kendall Jenner apart from her family at Met Gala

Celebrity enthusiasts, fashion fanatics and just about everyone in between watched the highly anticipated Met Gala last night (May 6).

This year’s theme was ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion’ with the dress code ‘The Garden of Time’ and we saw a lot of weird and wonderful looks throughout the evening.

However, it’s clear that there was a major focus on the Kardashian/Jenner family – with many eager to see what they would turn up in.

The red carpet was graced by Kim Kardashian, who seemingly caused some concern among fans with her super tight corset, alongside Kendall who had to follow some pretty strict rules on the red carpet.

They were also joined by Kris and Kylie, while Khloé and Kourt were nowhere to be seen.

While the sisters share many similarities, a body language expert has since noticed one behavior that set Kendall apart from the rest of her family at the Met Gala — and it’s not what you might think.

Body language expert Darren Stanton revealed on behalf of Betfair Slingo that Kendall came across as ‘grounded’ and ‘more humble’ as she felt ‘shy’ and ‘wanted to appear smaller’.

He told Tyla exclusively: “When Kendall was on her own, she seemed shy and less confident than her family.

“I noticed her hands were at her sides and one of her knees was tilted, both of which are signals of wanting to step back and draw attention away from herself – but absorb everything else that’s going on around her.”

The expert further claimed that the 818 Tequila businesswoman “wanted to make herself look smaller than the rest of her clan,” adding, “It tells us her nerves played a role, but she came across as more humble and down-to-earth than Kim.” Kris and Kylie.

“She still has independence, but she feels stronger when someone is by her side.”

Meanwhile, the expert claimed that Kendall’s sister, Kylie, seemed to be the opposite as being the center of attention “doesn’t upset her.”

Darren explained: “Kylie is following in Kim’s footsteps as she seems very confident and strong when she walks the carpet alone.

“She draws a lot of attention from everyone in the room and from the photographers.

“She walks with great strength and tells us she knows she is important and brave.”

He added: “Being the center of attention doesn’t deter her as her facial expressions of joy tell us she’s enjoying the spotlight.”

And as for the momager?

Well, according to the body language expert, Kris wanted to appear ‘strong’ and ‘liberated’ while demanding ‘all the attention’.

“Kris wanted to be the center of attention,” says Darren. “Wearing white means they want to stand out and have all eyes on them.

“She tends to wear a lot of white.”

He commented, “It makes me believe that Kris wants to create that image of appearing strong, independent and liberated.

“Kris definitely feels powerful with the way she walked across the carpet.

“She took every step in her step and commanded everyone’s attention with her presence.”

Indeed she did.
