Kim Kardashian jokes about family history with OJ Simpson at Tom Brady’s Netflix Roast

Kim Kardashian joked about her father’s involvement with OJ Simpson during the Tom Brady comedy on Sunday (May 5).

The 43-year-old reality star was booed mercilessly as she entered the stage at the event, which was streamed live from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

Referencing her infamous 2007 sex tape, she joked about speculation that she had previously dated Tom Brady, joking, “I know there were rumors that we were, and I would never say whether or not we did – I would just release a tape.”

“But I know it would never work out. An ex-athlete, high cheekbones, silky hair, you remind me too much of my stepdad right now,” she added, referring to her former stepparent Caitlyn Jenner.

“Part of me thinks you’d want to undress me just to try on my clothes. I know the transition from the NFL must have been very difficult, but I think my stepfather is a great example for you.

“She is one of the best athletes in the world and proves that you can do anything in this next chapter of your life.

“You can become a commentator, a far-right Republican or even a strong, confident woman.”

She added: “Honestly, it’s hard for me to watch people roast you, but I think enough of my relatives have helped defend former footballers.”

Kim’s father Robert Kardashian was best known for being part of NFL star Simpson’s defense team during his 1995 murder trial.

Simpson, who died last month, was acquitted of the 1994 murders of his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman after one of the most high-profile trials in American criminal history.

During the Roast, which was hosted by comedian Kevin Hart and also featured actor Ben Affleck, Kardashian continued: “Retirement isn’t easy, it can be a lot like a bad breakup.

“So I give you the same advice I give all my exes: good luck knowing that the best is behind you.”

Considered one of the greatest NFL players of all time, Brady won the Super Bowl seven times.

He had a high-profile marriage and divorce with Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen.

After the fire, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe was criticized for jokes he made at Kardashian’s expense.

Hinchcliffe, who is known for his insult comedy, discussed the Will Ferrell film Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundyand the famous line “Whale’s vagina” when he shifted the subject of his roast to Kardashian.

“A whale’s vagina, which reminds me Kim Kardashian is here. She’s had a lot of black men celebrating her end zone,” Hinchcliffe began, before addressing the Keep up with the Kardashians star.

“Kim, advice, close your legs,” he said. “You have more public beef than Kendrick and Drake.”

Some viewers thought the comment went too far, calling it “incredibly misogynistic” and “gross.” The independent has contacted Netflix for comment.
