At a meeting with the excise department, the Noida Restaurant Owners Association pushed for an extension of bar operations till 4 am, noting that current regulations allow bars to remain open till 1 am. The committee has been directed to submit a report within 15 days, taking into account the similarity in economic activities and per capita income between Noida and Ghaziabad and other NCR cities like Delhi and Gurgaon, where nightlife is flourishing.
