Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso make the 2024 Met Gala a rare date night

When it comes to saving their private date nights for special occasions, Matt Damon And Luciana Barroso know how to pick them.

After all, is there anything more festive to enjoy a night out on the town than at the Met Gala? And indeed, the Saving Private Ryan star and his wife of 19 years were among the lucky few to receive an invitation to one of fashion’s most exclusive evenings.

As for the evening’s “Garden of Time” dress code, Matt and Luciana kept it simple. Luciana, for her part, wore a white, silver strapless dress with ruffles along the bust. Keeping it just as classic, Matt opted for a standard black tuxedo with a white collar shirt and a black bow tie.

The duo was first photographed outside The Mark Hotel in New York City, conveniently located just a few blocks away from the Metropolitan Museum of Art and its iconic front steps.
