Press release Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Center –– The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Center hosts the second annual Ladies’ Afternoon Tea. Guests will enjoy an afternoon of flavorful tea, delectable pastries and inspiration as we raise funds to support CAPCC maternity home, The Aerie, on Saturday, May 25 at CrossRoads Church Chapel in Red Deer.

The Central Alberta Pregnancy Care Center provides compassionate support and education to individuals and families affected by unexpected pregnancy and its consequences. All CAPCC programs and services are free and confidential and provided in a safe and non-judgmental environment, regardless of age, gender, race or religion. Women, men and families have access to a variety of support services within the Red Deer, Rocky Mountain House and Stettler communities. These include support with pregnancy options, male mentorship, baby and maternity clothes, post-abortion support, support for past sexual abuse/trauma, parenting programs, healthy relationship education, and referrals to community resources.

Our Red Deer location also features a maternity home for pregnant mothers and mothers and babies. It is a two-phase program that provides a caregiver at home that supports healthy pregnancy and positive parenting. The Aerie is staffed 24/7 and can accommodate up to 11 young women and their babies. During their pregnancy, eligible residents enter Phase 1 of the program and transition to Phase 2 when their child is approximately six months old. Residents who continue to meet program outcomes are invited to stay until their child is approximately two years old, continuing to pursue education or employment while strengthening their parenting and life skills.

Tickets are available here.
