The biggest fashion night of the year has finally arrived! The annual Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Gala in New York City kicks off on Monday evening, May 6.

With the exhibition’s ‘Sleeping Beauties’ movement, celebrated with this year’s theme, ‘Garden of Time’, several members of the fashion and entertainment industry’s elite prepare to hit the carpet with their most extravagant , chic and certainly most memorable looks.

Doja cat

Doja cat attended the Monse Maison Pre-Met Cocktail Celebration on the arm of designer and creative director of Vetements Guram Gvasalia.

The rapstress went for the daring option, wearing a black leather coat from Vetements with the logo embroidered in white on the back with nothing but black tights underneath. She dressed up with diamond earrings and let her tattoos shine.

While she was also busy promoting her upcoming Netflix film Atlas, Jennifer Lopez Anna’s pre-gala dinner hosted Anna’s pre-gala dinner as one of the co-chairs, keeping things sleek and elegant.

With her hair tied in a pony, she opted for a black figure-hugging velvet dress with an intricate sweetheart neckline and diamond teardrop detailing, paired with strappy heels.

Bad bunny

The fourth co-chair, rapper Bad Bunny, similarly went for an all-black ensemble, but kept things much simpler than his fellow chairs.

He wore a black trench coat with a white T-shirt, teamed with oversized black trousers and shiny dress shoes as he protected himself from the New York drizzle. He dressed up with a leather tote bag, a baseball cap and a special black cocktail glove.
