Kelly Armstrong on whether there is a place for illegal immigrants in North Dakota: “No”

(Fargo, ND) – Northern gubernatorial candidate Kelly Armstrong was asked if there is a place for illegal immigrants in North Dakota, and whether the state should offer them benefits.

“No, the problem, I mean we have 50,000 open jobs. We have legal immigration, it’s a big part of our agricultural community, it’s actually been a big part of a lot of different things in North Dakota, but I mean The illegal immigration crisis at our southern border is our greatest short-term threat to the autonomy of our country as a whole. Our greatest long-term threat is a $34 trillion debt burden,” Armstrong said.

Armstrong also drew attention to the significant increase in the number of illegal immigrants entering the US through the northern border.

The representative had previously announced that a congressional field hearing would take place in North Dakota on May 29 on the immigration surge at the northern border.

Armstrong made the comments during his appearance on WDAY Mid Day.
