AirYacht’s Redesigned Airship Marks A New Era of Luxury Air Travel

The AirYacht, a Swiss innovation prepared to redefine luxury travel, is preparing to launch a new, exclusively airborne model. This redesigned airship, originally a hybrid with a detachable yacht, has transformed into a full-time aerial lounge, enhancing passenger capacity and travel capabilities.

Guillaume Hoddé, CEO and co-founder of the company, explains that this decision enhances the airship’s ability to carry more guests and extend cruising durations. “Living in the air was our founding dream,” Hoddé remarked. At 500 feet up, travelers experience their surroundings in a uniquely immersive way, unmatched by any other form of travel.

This airship offers 8,600 square feet of space and can be configured to host between 10 to 40 guests. With plans to sell these luxurious airships globally, buyers can customize the interiors to their preference.

Construction has begun with several subsystem prototypes already complete. Hoddé anticipates initial flight tests in 2026, aiming for a commercial launch by 2028. This innovative airship will feature hybrid propulsion, with aspirations for a fully hydrogen-powered system by 2030. It can reach up to 10,000 feet, hover over particular locations for extended periods, and travel swiftly at 50 knots.

The envisioned journeys are nothing short of breathtaking. From majestic polar expeditions to serene cruises over France’s lush landscapes, the AirYacht promises a new perspective on world travel. With an onboard elevator for easy embarkation and disembarkation, plush dining areas, bars, and private bedrooms, every journey promises comfort and elegance.

Facing competition from other airship developers, AirYacht is poised to become a leader in luxury air travel. As this industry continues to grow, AirYacht’s innovative approach could very well set new standards for high-end, sustainable tourism in the skies.
