Conewago Township police investigation related to Tracy Scanlon’s murder investigation

A search is underway in an area in York County’s Connewago Township in connection with a homicide investigation in Dauphin County, said Ted Czech, public information officer with the York County Office of Emergency Management/York County 911.

The search is in the area of Canal Road and the Susquehanna Trail, Czech said.

Susquehanna Township police are investigating the disappearance of Tracy Scanlon, who has been missing since late February. She has had no contact with her family or friends, according to a news release.

Scanlon, who is originally from Allegheny County, was temporarily living with an acquaintance in the 3300 block of Union Deposit Road in Harrisburg, the release said.

She was last seen leaving a Wine and Spirits store on Union Deposit Road.
