Arvind Kejriwal News: Meanwhile, AAP Minister Atishi says ‘ED was planning to arrest Kejriwal from day 1, Shah admitted in an interview.’

The Aam Aadmi Party on Friday alleged that Amit Shah had clarified in an interview that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had been arrested by the ED on conspiracy charges. At a press conference, party leader Atishi claimed that Home Minister Shah had made it clear in an interview to a news channel that the Enforcement Directorate was planning to arrest Kejriwal from the very first time it issued a summons to him.

“Since the day Kejriwal got a summons from the ED, AAP has openly said that this was a conspiracy to arrest him,” Atishi said.

The Delhi minister said these were not ED but ‘BJP summons’.

“At that time, BJP spokespersons said that ED is an independent investigating agency and they have nothing to do with the summons,” she said.

She alleged that the BJP is afraid of Kejriwal as he can expose the decade of its misrule.

“Amit Shah himself said that from the very first day, the BJP-ruled central government and their ED had the intention to arrest Shri Arvind Kejriwal and put him in jail,” Atishi said.
