Club Med opens first Middle East resort with $100 million property in Oman

Oman has announced a major resort development as the iconic brand looks to open its first resort in the Middle East.

Oman’s hospitality scene is set to receive a major boost with the official signing of the Club Med Musandam project, which marks the debut of the first Club Med Resort in the Middle East.

This exclusive resort is a collaboration between Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group), Club Med and Royal Court Affairs

The signing underlines OMRAN Group’s commitment to boosting Oman’s economy and promoting tourism through sustainable projects.

Club Med Musandam is located on the Musandam Peninsula, a five-minute boat ride from the city of Khasab in the far northeast of the Arabian Gulf.

The resort is expected to add another 300 rooms to the country’s hospitality portfolio, with a strong flair of national culture as reflected in its interior design, entertainment and even food and beverages.

Built with an investment of over $100 million, Club Med Musandam will be another landmark that reflects OMRAN Group’s efforts to expand its rich portfolio of hospitality facilities and tourism destinations and generate value in the country through the creation of promote employment and sustainable growth.
