Pork gyozas are being urgently recalled due to concerns that they contain mainly plastic.

Itsu’s sizzling pork gyoza, which is sold at Asda and Sainsbury’s, may be unsafe to eat due to the possible presence of plastic.

The company’s 240-gram packs with a best-before date of March 8, 2025 are included in the recall.

Itsu urges customers not to eat the product and to send them a photo of the purchased item.

They said: ‘We apologize for any inconvenience caused and would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.’
