Influencer Roz Purcell says: ‘Kerry always has something new to experience on every visit’

The former model, who now shares her love of walking and traveling via social media and regular articles, put Kerry high on her list of places to visit. She was in the province this week as a guest speaker at a tourism networking event ahead of the summer season.

Speaking from the event, she said the Kingdom has so much to offer.

“I love any excuse to visit Kerry so today’s event was a pleasure to be a part of. Kerry has so much to offer Irish and international tourists, from adventure, unique stays, great food and character, with continued new companies are popping up, there is always something new to experience with every visit.

More than 70 Kerry tourism businesses attended a special Fáilte Ireland networking event at the Gleneagle Hotel, Killarney, organized by Fáilte Ireland in partnership with Kerry Tourism Industry Federation and Kerry County Council to build collaboration between the county’s tourism industry and encouraging businesses to collaborate and cross-sell to attract visitors and inspire them to explore the province and all it has to offer.

Face-to-face networking sessions with more than 300 appointments were organized between accommodation providers, visitor attractions and activities to give them the opportunity to forge new connections and renew old ones. The meetings focused on how tourism businesses can work together to collectively market Kerry as an exciting destination with a range of things to see and do for all target groups of visitors.

Chief Executive of Kerry County Council, Moira Murrell, said the tourism industry plays such a vital role in the county that the importance of events like this cannot be underestimated.

“Kerry County Council recognizes the vital role the tourism sector plays in the county and the importance of events such as these in providing tourism and hospitality businesses with the opportunity to connect and work together to enhance the county’s tourism offer continue to strengthen. .”
